The 2008 Script Pimp Competition is searching for the best stories told by the best screenwriters demonstrating the best craft. Each screenplay entered is guaranteed two (2) reads from the Script Pimp panel of judges. Composed of working literary agents, literary managers and development directors from the film industry, the 2008 judges are comprised of representatives at the following companies:
Chadwick and Sean will work to set up at least one mentor meeting with each finalist. Most meetings will be scheduled on July 25th, the day after the awards ceremony. The mentors are not intended to personally represent your project, rather provide advice, potential leads and act as an overall guide in your effort to circulate your script.
Although it is not required to enter our competition, we recommend you register your work with a copyright service, such as the U.S. Copyright Office or the Writer's Guild of America (WGA West | WGA East). Alternatively, clickandcopyright.com will register your work for you.
