Script Pimp Contest Winner Nabs Warner Bros. Writing Assignment
After introduction to Jake Wagner (Energy Entertainment) by Script Pimp owner Chadwick Clough, Evan Daugherty recently secured a writing assignment with Warner Bros. to write an adaptation of the classic 1980s animated series HE-MAN, part of the popular Masters of the Universe franchise. Evan's script SHRAPNEL was selected as one of the Grand Prize winners of the 2008 Script Pimp Screenwriting Competition. The screenplay is making its rounds among A-list talent and landed on The Blacklist as one of the top 100 "most popular" unproduced scripts in the market.

Former Recommend Writer Mark Mahon's film (and lead actor) Interviewed by Today Show Former Script Pimp Recommend screenplay STRENGTH AND HONOR (dir. Mark Mahon), now a multi-award-winning film, was featured on NBC’s the today show. The film’s star, Michael Madsen, was interviewed by Meredith Viera on his role and the film’s success, along with an appearance by writer/director Mark Mahon.

Rogues Gallery
